When and where we meet We get together at Bosham Village Hall on Walton Lane every Thursday during term time from 10.00 to 12.00.
Who comes to the group Every week we have a geat mixture of babies (some newborn if we're lucky), toddlers and pre-schoolers. There are normally at least 15 kids and often many more.
What we do There is a special area set up for babies and lots of different play areas for the bigger kids. These include a sitting area with books, a puzzles table, a slide, tent and tunnel area and lots of ride on toys. Every week there is a different, themed craft activity. At the end of each session we all sit together and one of the mums leads a singing session at which the kids especially enjoy playing lots of noisy instruments.
At 10.30 the children all sit down for a drink and a snack and at 11.00 coffee, tea and biscuits are served to the grown ups.
What does it cost The price per visit is just £1.50 and this includes all craft, drinks and snacks. It's particularly good value (not a phrase you'll often hear in relation to your kids!) if you have more than one child as the fee is per visit rather than per child. One of our mums has 3 who come every week!
